I consider myself a third-generation photographer, following in the footsteps of my father and great-grandfather. My earlier years were spent in darkrooms and photo studios. What better playground? There’s always been a gravitational pull to capture an experience and give it emotion through photography.
In my sophomore year of high school I took my first photography class - armed with my father's film Canon AE-1 (and the zealous teenage dreams of being the next Dorothea Lange) I was ready to make my mark on the world.
As you can already guess, the path hasn't always gone according to plan. There were detours, roadblocks and times I had no sense of direction - I call it my early 20s. Now, by divine intervention, luck, and perseverance, I find myself where I always intended to be - blessed with a career traveling to incredible destinations, meeting extraordinary people, and fully enjoying the remarkable experiences that come my way.
